Midwives affirm the power and strength of women and the importance of their health by honoring normalcy in pregnancy and birth, empowering women to make their own decisions for themselves and their families and offering alternative settings to labor and deliver. Midwives offer a range of services, including prenatal, labor and delivery, and postpartum care.

I am a Licensed Midwife practicing for over 37 years. I am one of the original Sonoma County midwives. I pioneered water births in the U.S. and worked with the world pioneer of water births, Igor Charkowsky, in the Black Sea which led to writing my book, WATER BIRTH: A MIDWIFE'S PERSPECTIVE.
My goal is to help women reach optimal health and help empower women to intuitively give birth. I come to your home for all prenatal and post partum visits, and of course, when the mother is giving birth!!!
Sonoma, Napa, Mendocino, and Marin counties are the areas that I serve.
I look forward to hearing from you.

I graduated from Nizhoni Institute of Midwifery in 2013 and did my student internship with a very busy, multi-midwife (and ObGyn) practice in Los Angeles. I am an East Bay native with a BS in Psychology. I am certified in NRP, BLS, ALSO, and am an active member of CAM and MANA. I had a thriving home birth practice in Los Angeles, and am excited to now be living and working in Sonoma County.
